Auditions

Auditions do not determine whether you come to Camp, but are used to decide which of the morning groups you will enter.

Using the information provided on the Application Form, students are provisionally placed in groups, and placements are confirmed or changed after the auditions.

Auditions also decide whether or not you will be eligible for selection in the Senior Chamber Strings Ensemble or the Senior Stage Band.

The auditions are very important, and you should prepare a short piece with great care. We cannot provide accompaniment on this occasion, so you should choose a piece that is effective without accompaniment.

All students are auditioned.

Students of recorder, piano and guitar are invited to audition for percussion.

Percussionists will be placed according to the needs of each group.
