1. When will I know if my child’s application to attend BMC has been successful? |
Answer:Acceptance Letters are posted out within three weeks of the closing date for applications. |
2. Does the Audition decide if my child is accepted to Camp? |
Answer: No. The Audition is used to confirm which orchestral group your child will be placed in. |
3. What happens if I send the deposit but my child’s application to attend BMC is not successful? |
Answer:The deposit will be refunded. However, withdrawal after acceptances have closed will lead to forfeiture of the deposit. |
4. My child will be arriving by train. How do I arrange for her to be met? |
Answer: A Travel Form is included with the acceptance letter. Complete the details and return
the form by post and your child will be met on arrival. |
5. When does camp end? |
Answer: The camp finishes with the Saturday night concert. Please collect your child’s belongings from
the dormitory prior to the concert and advise a Camp Mum or Dad that you have done so. Accommodation for your child after the
concert on Saturday night is your responsibility. |
6. I can’t attend the concert – what arrangements can be made for my child who is boarding? |
Answer: Write to the Student Administrator requesting that your child stay Saturday night.
We will arrange accommodation if possible and will advise you if we are not able to. |
7. When should I pay the final monies for my child to attend camp? |
Answer: We ask that you pay the balance of fees by the end of June to enable a smooth and quick registration of your child at camp. |
8. My child is vegetarian, has food allergies and has specific religious dietary requirements – can these be catered for? |
Answer: Yes. Please list these dietary requirements in the spaces indicated on the application form. |
9. Can I download the brochure and application form? |
Answer: The brochure and application form are not available for downloading at the moment. They will be available from Thursday, 01 March 2012.
